Distortion 1998

The concept of "Copenhagen Distortion ­ a Celebration of Copenhagen Nightlife" was born in September 1998, with a party which blended hiphop, latin house / deep house, S&M live acts, an art video of the legs of Thomas Fos jumping on an orange carpet, 30 free bottles of Absolut vodka, easy-listening superstar Master Fatman, house-tech legend DJ King Kong and a surprise drum'n'bass chick from New York.

Also on a Thursday in Mantra but the party sucked big time ­ under 100 people showed up. We had a surprise star appearance by DJ Ariel Wizman, "prince punk du Paris mondain". The party sucked so Wizman and Fleurquin had the time to design "the 10 commandments of fist fucking" (1.thy shalt not fist fuck thy neighbour's wife 2. thy shalt not use vodka-tonic as lubricant 3. etc)
