1988 is where it all exploded for Sven Väth, when he as a 24 year old DJ opened his first electronic nightclub in Frankfurt. Quickly he became the figurehead for a techno revolution in Germany that spread far and wide. Worldwide.
Now 40 years into the astonishing career, he is one of the most charismatic performers to gaze out from the club culture. Vinyl back then, vinyl now. Sven Väth has been behind a bunch of venues, parties and labels such as Omen, Cocoon Club and Recordings, Harthouse, Eye Q, Recycle Or Die and Cocoon Ibiza every Monday on Amnesia since 1999. Sven Väth is the champion of the outdoor after party culture with endless grooves and chilled atmosphere that we all love so much.
