The legendary producer and DJ Rune Rask started to experiment with a tape recorder when he was only 10 years old and has now made music for more than two decades. Famously known as a member of the popular trio Suspekt, Rune gained further recognition with a Grammy nomination for his work on Kendrick Lamar’s debut album on the track ‘The Art of Peer Pressure’. While he spent years producing music for other artists, Rune has since released two solo albums. Transitioning from hip-hop production, his latest work delves into the realm of deeply personal instrumental music.
In exclusivity for Distortion X, Rune will perform a very special set. Celebrating the launch of the new streaming service Max, “The Rune Rask Max Mix” will be featuring iconic music from their vast world of content, including HBO shows, Warner movies and local programs from discovery+.
